BPD is a diagnosis - not an identity.

This section is under construction and more information will be added soon. Please keep checking back for up-dates.

Some professionals maintain that Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is intractible, therefore, incurable leading them to all-too-often, quite literally just throw up their hands and give up on treating those diagnosed with BPD.

There are many professionals, on the other side of the fence, however, that in spite of the ever-widening void that exists where outlined, defined and measurable recovery needs to be documented, continue to treat those with BPD with hope and dedication.

Many therapists use a rather ecclectic approach to therapy with those who have BPD. There are however, more specific therapies that have been around for some time, such as Dialectical Behavioral Training (DBT)

Also stressed in the treatment of borderlines is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (coming soon).
